Meen Curry – Fish Curry Recipe

| Ingredients: |
| Fish (Naimeen, Nadan mathi, Para, Avoli etc., ) | 1 kg |
| Coconut powder | 5 tbsp |
| Ginger-garlic paste | 2 tsp |
| Chilly powder | 2 tsp |
| Coriander powder | 1/2 tsp |
| Turmeric powder | 1 tsp |
| Small onions(Kunjulli) | 3 - 4 nos |
| Curry leaves | A few |
| Tomato(big) | 1 no |
| Kokum star(Kodampuli) | 4 - 5 nos |
| Fenugreek seeds(Uluva) | 1/2 tsp |
| Coconut oil | as required |

| Preparation Method: |
- Grind together coconut powder, ginger & garlic paste, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, small onions and curry leaves
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai
- Add fenugreek seeds and when it becomes brown, add tomatoes & saute it well
- Put the masala into it & saute
- Add water, kokum star, salt, curry leaves and fish
- Cook well
:- Serve hot with rice or chappathis.
